I began my journey into tattooing 15 years ago, right around the time many artists were switching from coil machines to plug-in rotaries. I barely knew how to work a coil back then—and if you asked me to maintain one, I probably would’ve just bought a new one.

Back then, I made stencils by tracing printouts and redrawing them by hand. I learned to design in Photoshop before iPads and Procreate became staples in every studio—and honestly, I still love that workflow. I got my first smartphone in 2014 (a hand-me-down), and I wasn’t in a hurry to jump into social media.

Over the years, I’ve watched tattooing change in huge ways. Technology, access, and visibility have transformed the craft. Some of those changes have brought incredible tools and opportunities—others have challenged what tattooing used to feel like. But at its heart, tattooing is still about people, stories, and connection. That part hasn’t changed, and it’s what keeps me grounded in this art form.

Even with new trends, shifting styles, and the rise of AI, I’m excited to keep learning and adapting. The tools may evolve, but the intention behind every piece remains the same.
What keeps me going are the people I get to work with. You bring meaning and purpose to what I do. Your trust and support have allowed me to spend 15 years doing something I love—and with any luck, I’ll keep doing it until my hands or eyes give out.
Thank you.
And a huge shoutout to my family and friends—you’ve always made my life easier than it should be, and I’m endlessly grateful for that.
